TADHack Sri Lanka 2023 by hSenid Mobile Solutions, the most anticipated open global hackathon, was successfully held at the Nawaloka Auditorium on October 21, 2023, for the 9th consecutive year, allowing Sri Lankan innovators to present and demonstrate their unique ideas and talents for the world.
The TADHack Global Championship, held annually, gathers the brightest minds in telecommunications, software development, and innovation from all corners of the globe. For this year’s event, registration opened at the start of September, and the response was truly remarkable. Over 2,500 enthusiastic individuals eagerly joined the ranks of registrants, out of which 10 finalists were selected, set to pitch their innovative ideas in front of the expert judging panel on the day of the hackathon, following a meticulous evaluation of their project proposals.
A seasoned mentor team from hSenid Mobile provided invaluable guidance to these finalists. Concurrently, hSenid Mobile hosted webinars and workshops, enlightening participants about the utilization of telco APIs and the innovative subscription methods within Ideamart, thereby showcasing the transformative potential of Telco APIs, reshaping the landscape of mobile and web app development.
Team IntendAble, proudly representing the University of Colombo, showcased an extraordinary fusion of creativity, technical brilliance, and a remarkable ability to solve complex challenges. Their innovation left judges and tech enthusiasts in awe, earning them the coveted title of ‘TADHack Sri Lanka 2023’ as well as the ‘Third Place Winner of TADHack Global Radisys’, along with a substantial prize of $500. This outstanding accomplishment marks a momentous occasion for Sri Lanka’s tech ecosystem, further solidifying the nation’s progress in the global technology landscape.
This winning project, titled ‘Audiphix’, addresses a critical issue in hearing ability for people with Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). Team IntendAble’s solution leverages state-of-the-art Generative AI and other cutting-edge technologies, offering an elegant and efficient remedy that holds the promise of a profound transformation in the auditory experiences of those with APD.
