TADHack Sri Lanka 2022 by hSenid Mobile Solutions, the most anticipated open global hackathon, returns for the 8th time!

TADHack Global is a hackathon where 20+ countries around the world run in parallel over one weekend. The ultimate objective of TADHack is to help people learn about the latest Internet, IT, and Telecoms/Communications technologies; and use those technologies to solve real-world problems. In essence, TADHack is for Everyone: it’s an event where people (e.g. students, graphic designers, interface designers, coders and non-coders, interested individuals, and subject matter experts) collaborate on different software/hardware projects.
The past hacks have included programmable communications/telecoms (voice, video, messaging), internet of things, cloud computing, robotics, machine learning, speech and face recognition, mobile payments, enterprise communications, the decentralized web, blockchain, encryption, open source, and many other technologies.
hSenid Mobile Solutions have been an original cast member of TADHack Global and has been hosting TADHack Sri Lanka since 2014. Every year Sri Lankan innovators were allowed to demonstrate their impressive talent to the world, by mashing up the ideamart APIs with global sponsors. This year’s registrations were opened up at the beginning of September, and there was an overwhelming demand where over 2000 registrants signed up by the application deadline (23rd September 2022).
The submitted ideas were then evaluated through a group of experienced mentors, and simultaneously hSenid Mobile hosted a series of webinars and workshops along the way to educate these innovators on how to use telco APIs and also introduced the all-new subscription methods in ideamart, and explained on how Telco APIs are revolutionizing mobile and web app development. The first was a three-part webinar and a workshop series designed to give all applicants a thorough introduction to innovation using telecom tools and technologies. These sessions were conducted by industry experts on various cherry[1]picked concepts and relevant telecom tools and technologies that together create the foundational knowledge required when developing an application.
After carefully assessing the idea and the project proposal of each applicant, finalists will be announced, who will move on to pitch in front of the expert judging panel during the hackathon on the 15th of October 2022. Once the finalists are selected, a group of experienced mentors will work with each selected team to offer guidance in developing the idea and the solution.
TADHack Sri Lanka 2022 is an excellent place to share experiences from various disciplines, and most importantly, it allows non-developers to come up with tech-based solutions for real-life problems.
